Want to play mechWarrior 3, without having to get the old game running?
No more messing with ISO mounting, No-CD cracks, Registry Fixes, DgVoodoo, Frame Limiters, windows patching out multiplayer.

Welcome to UnMech3, a fanbased Remake/Rebuild of MechWarrior 3
It will put you in a 'Mech without having to do any of that.
We try to be as true to BattleTech as possible, while remaining the idea of the MechWarrior3 game.
Nothing is final, Nothing might work as expected And finally we do this just to have good old Mech Fun.



Requirements:
- A MechWarrior3 installation (updated to v1.2)
- UnMech3

Installation Options:
- UnMechUpdater
    Place the .bat or .sh file into your folder containing MechWarrior3 (e.g; C:\MicroProse\MechWarrior3)
    Run the script
    Follow instructions in the window
    If the game doesn't start. Open the 'UnMech3' folder and run Unmech3.exe
- Zip
    Download the latest UnMech3_Stable_.zip from http://unmech3.org/Release/
    Extract the contents of the .zip into your MechWarrior3 folder (e.g; C:\MicroProse\MechWarrior3)
    Open the 'UnMech3' folder and run Unmech3.exe


Potential Issues:
- "ZBD folder not found!"
    UnMech3 can not find the original MechWarrior3 assets.
    The correct location of these files is one folder UP from where the UnMech3 folder/directory is located.

Console commands:
    (Pressing ` (tilde) opens up the console)
- The following commands are always available to be used:    
'coord'
    display player mech coordinates
'debugdamage'
    Enable and disable showing in-game damage values done to target in the 'HUD Dock'. (Default=False)
- The following commands are available to be used in Single player and Instant Action:
'tampere'
    Toggle heat tracking on/off
'kersnap'
    kill targeted enemy
'eledore'
    Toggle unlimited JJ
